This is an overdue post that I’ve been meaning to write for a while now. We’ve been to GLOW, which stands for Grill Lounge Ocean Wine, [I find the name Glow much cooler without it being an acronym] a couple of times now and we’ve always enjoyed their food. This tiny Oyster Bar and Seafood Grill is nestled in the growing foodie scene of Sai Ying Pun on Second Street.

The Chop House
The Wooloomooloo Group extends their family to include a newly opened restaurant, The Chop House. Located in the brand new Soundwill Plaza II on Tang Lung Street, The Chop House is neighbors to Sushi To by Harlan Goldstein and the much-anticipated Jamie’s Italian.
Bao Wow
Being a foodie and all, I got to admit I’m a bit slow with following this town’s food trends. I didn’t join the Butao craze until last month, I don’t drool when I see a macaron, and I’m not “bao” obsessed yet [I hope you’re not starting to think I’m a hack]. Yu: Sichuan Simplicity
One night I gave hubby the task of selecting a restaurant for dinner, with spicy food being the only requirement. After some research (aka openrice), he came back suggesting a Sichuan restaurant in Causeway Bay, Yu (渝酸辣粉), and I got to say, he made me proud. Read more >>

I’ve heard that the queues are no longer horrendous, but I didn’t believe it until I saw it. We waited 5 minutes only, and got ourselves a table (well, a shared table).
Tiger Curry
I first came across Tiger Curry when I passed by their building a month or two ago. I was captivated by an abstract graphic mural splashed across a 3 story building [I apologize for no photo, I intended to take a snapshot, but I completely forgot]. At first I thought it was a new trendy fashion boutique, but when I got closer I saw the “Tiger Curry” sign and immediately put it on my restos to-try list. Read more >>
Tin Lung Heen
Every year on hubby’s birthday, I go all out and I take him somewhere special for dinner. When he wanted to try molecular dining, I took him to Bo Innovation. When he wanted to do French, I took him to Joël Robuchon. This year he requested a Chinese dinner with braised abalone and after some research, I settled on the 2 Michelin star, Tin Lung Heen (天龍軒) [I do spoil him, don’t I?]. Read more >>
