The Wooloomooloo Group extends their family to include a newly opened restaurant, The Chop House. Located in the brand new Soundwill Plaza II on Tang Lung Street, The Chop House is neighbors to Sushi To by Harlan Goldstein and the much-anticipated Jamie’s Italian.
Folks, we finally jumped on the Butato bandwagon. It happened when we were strolling along Tang Lung Street, (scoping out the new restaurants) and noticed there wasn’t much of a line up outside of Butato (豚王). I’ve heard that the queues are no longer horrendous, but I didn’t believe it until I saw it. We waited 5 minutes only, and got ourselves a table (well, a shared table).
I first came across Tiger Curry when I passed by their building a month or two ago. I was captivated by an abstract graphic mural splashed across a 3 story building [I apologize for no photo, I intended to take a snapshot, but I completely forgot]. At first I thought it was a new trendy fashion boutique, but when I got closer I saw the “Tiger Curry” sign and immediately put it on my restos to-try list. Read more >>
Our decision to visit Enmaru Izakaya was an impulsive one. Which meant we made no reservations and I didn’t do any research beforehand (I like to read up on the restaurant and learn their signature dishes and know what to expect).
So, let me start off by telling you that we didn’t try any of their signature dishes….oops. But, their non-signature dishes got me intrigued enough to blog about this izakaya restaurant. This restaurant originates from Japan and features beautiful robatayaki grilled dishes. Read more >>
Hysan Place houses a long list of restaurants, giving Causeway Bay shoppers a lot more dining options. It has taken me quite a while to try out most of the restaurants in this rather new shopping mall. And because of the queues in front of the Shanghainese restaurant, The Dining Room (南小館), it has taken me even longer to try this place out.
