Japan has brought to us one of the best fast food chains across Asia, Pepper Lunch. Hubby is absolutely crazy for their signature Pepper Rice, which is a hot plate of thinly sliced pieces of beef, corn, margarine, rice and freshly ground pepper. YOUKA
Located in Wanchai, the entrance to this little Washoku Japanese restaurant looks mysterious and intimidating to those who pass by. The windowless store front with all-black panels only has a small white sign with an interesting design of circles and the name, YOUKA. When you open the sliding doors, you’ll find yourself greeted with a modern and cozy interior, which is a complete contrast to the exterior.
Brunch @ Grand Central Bar & Grill
Last weekend I had brunch with my bestie, K (+ her hubby and cutie pie baby, R) at Grand Central Bar & Grill. This hip urban American sports bar and grill concept restaurant might not strike you as being too family-friendly. Dim Sum @ Dragon Seal
With my parents in town, I thought it would be nice to have a family dim sum lunch at Dragon Seal (龍璽) last weekend. Located on the 101st floor of ICC, this elegant Cantonese restaurant is part of the Sky Dining 101 family (neighboring Inakaya and Ryu Gin).
High Street Grill
I wanted to write a short post about the delightful lunch we had at High Street Grill, a new addition to the Sai Ying Pun restaurant scene. It was a weekday lunch so they offered set menus at $98 for 3 courses. We’re usually a-la-carte-ordering-type-of-people, but the selection on the set menu seemed interesting and the price tag was attractive compared to the a-la-carte choices, so we both got the set.
