I’ve read quite a bit of mixed review’s of The Night Market, and having tried it recently myself, I understood why. There are definitely a few hits and misses at this Taiwanese restaurant.
Bloody Caesar Cocktail
For those non-Canadian’s out there that have no idea what a Bloody Caesar is (also referred to a Caesar), its simply a Bloody Mary with the tomato juice replaced with Clamato juice (clam and tomato juice).
GLOW
This is an overdue post that I’ve been meaning to write for a while now. We’ve been to GLOW, which stands for Grill Lounge Ocean Wine, [I find the name Glow much cooler without it being an acronym] a couple of times now and we’ve always enjoyed their food. This tiny Oyster Bar and Seafood Grill is nestled in the growing foodie scene of Sai Ying Pun on Second Street.
Chef the Movie: Pasta Aglio e Olio
The movie, Chef, finally premiered in Hong Kong last week, and needless to say I rushed to the theatre to see it. This is now my favorite movie of the year (so far). But I admit I could be a slightly biased, since the film serves up a lot of food porn.

The Wooloomooloo Group extends their family to include a newly opened restaurant, The Chop House. Located in the brand new Soundwill Plaza II on Tang Lung Street, The Chop House is neighbors to Sushi To by Harlan Goldstein and the much-anticipated Jamie’s Italian.
