To celebrate a bit of good news that hubby received today, I bought some pastries from Patisserie Yamakawa. This little cake shop offers beautiful Japanese-inspired French pastries and has always been one of hubby’s favorites.

In the photo above, is a Blueberry Cheese Mousse ($48). The cheese-cake-mousse was light and creamy and was my favorite for the evening.

We both love all the matcha flavored pastries at Patisserie Yamakawa because of its rich taste, so I also got the Matcha Fantasy ($56). By using Japanese Uji matcha, Yamakawa really sets their green tea desserts apart from their competitors.

Patisserie Yamakawa has 3 branches in Hong Kong, all located as kiosk’s in city’super stores (IFC, Times Square and Harbour City).
